- 1 cup high-quality dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- For the Filling:
- 1 cup pistachio paste
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup toasted kataifi pastry
- Optional:
- Crushed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts)
- Cardamom, sea salt, rose water
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate: Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently. Temper if desired. Pour into molds and set aside to harden.
- Toast Kataifi: Spread kataifi pastry on a baking sheet, drizzle with oil, and toast until golden brown. Cool completely.
- Make Filling: Combine pistachio paste, tahini, and powdered sugar. Mix well.
- Assemble: Spoon filling into chocolate shells. Top with toasted kataifi. Cover with another layer of chocolate. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
