- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup beef broth (for slow cooking, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ribs: Trim excess fat, rinse under cold water, and pat dry with paper towels.
- Season: Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the mixture evenly over the ribs.
- Cooking Options:
- Oven-Baked: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Place ribs in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 2–2.5 hours. Remove foil, brush with BBQ sauce, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
- Grilled: Preheat grill to medium heat. Sear ribs for 2–3 minutes per side, then move to indirect heat for 45–60 minutes, brushing with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes.
- Slow Cooker: Place ribs in a slow cooker with beef broth. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours. Finish with BBQ sauce under the broiler or on a grill for a caramelized finish.
- Serve: Allow ribs to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Pair with your favorite sides and enjoy!
